Sacramento’s long, hot summers are about to get even more sizzling! Enjoy live music in a loose, easygoing atmosphere at the Crocker’s Jazz Nights. This evening series presents five standout acts who celebrate the many facets of this quintessentially American musical genre, while also introducing the bold sounds shaping its future.
Each concert consists of two 45-minute sets with a 15-minute intermission. While seating will be provided, guests may also bring their own chairs for maximum comfort! During intermission, be sure to stretch your legs with a guided art chat in the galleries, shop the Museum Store, or grab a bite to eat.
LabRats with Darlene Tellis
Celebrating the rich depth of musical diversity that Sacramento has to offer, local jazz and hip-hop fusion group LabRats will join forces with another local jazz favorite, Darlene Tellis. Embracing improvisation and innovation while balancing tried-and-true jazz traditions, this show will be a night you won’t soon forget!

Bags:
The Museum implements a bag search as a security measure at all Thursday evening events. Purses and personal bags larger than 8" x 6" x 2" are prohibited inside the Crocker Art Museum during events. Baby and medical bags no larger than 16” x 16” x 8" are permitted, but may be searched and tagged by security. Chairs carried in bags may also be searched by security.
Chairs:
If you plan to arrive early and bring your own chair a designated area will be available for chair storage prior to the program. Chairs carried in bags may also be searched by security. Chairs may not be carried through the Museum.
