Delve into the dynamic relationship between visual art and written expression, with ekphrasis, the art of vividly describing visual artworks through writing. Designed for writers, artists, and anyone passionate about exploring the synergy between visual and verbal arts, this hybrid class offers guided gallery visits, writing time, and critique, and culminates with an opportunity to read a completed ekphrastic piece before a live audience at the Crocker's Open Poetry program.
The Museum's highly trained staff and instructors are committed to providing students of all experience levels with a supportive and engaging experience.
