The Crocker Art Museum hosts two signature fundraising events each year. Art Auction in late spring, and Crocker Ball on the first Saturday of December. Read on for details on each event, including how to get involved.
The Art Auction Season is a highly anticipated Sacramento tradition that draws thousands of bidders from the Sacramento region and beyond. The season features two virtual auctions, the Silent Auction and Big Names, Small Art, as well as a rousing, in-person Live Auction event, always held on the first Saturday in June.

Art Auction Season is a crucial source of support for our world-class exhibitions and thought-provoking programs that benefit thousands of children, families, and adults served by the Museum every year. So, remember to bid high and bid often!
Crocker Ball is a not-to-be-missed evening benefiting the Museum, always held on the first Saturday in December. This red-carpet evening features extraordinary food, wine, and cocktails, stellar entertainment, and an always-spirited auction of coveted items, exclusive experiences, and the important Fund-A-Need paddle raiser. An after-party in the Museum’s historic ballroom with late-night bites and dancing rounds out the evening.
